05/27/08 - Event Meeting
Sadly I was a no show last week. Had some auto troubles but we finished up a series and showed a new one. We also had the Death Note Film UOE contrats to everyone that went.
- Muteki Kanban Musume
- Moyashimon Series Complete!
Also today is our Anime Short-Film FES event meeting but sadly I forgot my digital camera so all we gots is shitty camera phones so not gonna be many photos T_T
..And Miscellaneous Gallavanting
So I guess I'll be posting here on the website as well. If people end up interested, I can write up articles on new or old anime here. Or news articles which won't be quite new, but something to read nonetheless. You'll have to put up with my elitism; internets doesn't escape the wrath of mine which slays with the force of a million pillows. And it hurts.
05/16 - Show Meeting
Didn't get to blog about this week's Buisness Meeting but it was fairly informal. I did however do some talks and answer some questions on anime culture. Our discussion topics were:
- NICE BOATs
- BAD ENDs
- Train-wrecks
- Tsunderes
As for what we showed today:
- 1x Ninin Ga Shinobuden (Ninja Nonsense)
- 3x Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Series Finished!
05/07 - Buisness Meeting
No minutes for the business meeting this week. Due to a family emergency I was unable to conduct a meeting.
Today's topics were supposed to be:
The Short-Film Fest
- Public or not?
- Volunteers needed
- Possible speeches & talks beforehand
- Vote on fliers.

UOE: Death Note Live Action Film
Un-Official Event: I want to do a survey of those interested but on May 20 & 21st Viz & Fathom films are doing a screening of the Japanese Death Note Live Action Film. I was thinking the 21st might be a good date and the nearest theaters are probably the Edwards in West Covina or if you don't like that place the AMC at Ontario Mills.
I don't want to go to the movies alone and I am sure you don't want to either so contact me over the next week so I can pull things together, arrange rides, pre-order tickets etc. Don't want a paniced game of cell phone tag the day-of like we did with The Pillows concert (which was awesome BTW)
Ne ways so here are our choices:
